I'd like to return briefly to Thursday's Poll question about the skirts made from menswear shirts: "How much would you pay for the skirt?"

I promised to let you know the skirts' cost, but before I do that, here are the poll numbers:
79% would pay $100 or less for the shirt skirts.
21% would pay $101-$200 for the shirt skirts.
While I think anything in this range would be quite fair, it's not even close, Esteemed Readers! Those skirts fetch $320 apiece. What do we think about that?

well i think it's very wrong. they aren't my style, so who knows if i were blinded by love. i did go and buy a schizo skirt myself, for plenty, and i'm sure my mom will say i'm nuts. it's all so subjective. since they look homemade, i really wouldn't pay anything for them. if i wanted that look, i'd d.i.m.
but i don't, so i won't.
I should be shocked, but I'm not. You've ruined me E!
yikes... my brother has some old armani and versace shirt which i think i can do something with them then....
Hmmmm I agree with SG.... Hubby has some shirts, maybe a DIY....
xoxo
well i didn't like them very much to begin with, so the price just seems ridiculous to me. this looks like it should be free...
Those skirts are definitely not for me! And I think it's "squerle."
No to the skirts. Oui to ze sqwerl.;-)
wow! and, yuck ;)
wow thats some crazy ish!
corr...that's a tad steep!!!
Merry Christmas E xxxxx
Eeek that price seems to add a lot given the construction and materials...maybe it's simply for quality and exclusivity?
The creator of that can keep it. Totally not worth that much.
Hmm, I'm always reluctant to pay much for something I can do myself. But then, I don't think I've paid more than 50 bucks for a skirt so my perspective is probably skewed...
i LOVE the skirts!
What do i think about that?
I think they will be on sale;)
