They are beautiful.... however...I took some extreme lace-up boots to London once and spent way too much time lacing and lacing and lacing.

They are lovely boots but like glasses I look a complete moron in boots like this - they just do not suit me or rather I'm not the style of person to work them.

I, too, could never walk in these or even appear in them without looking like some S&M queen (that's what happens when you're a tall girl and try to pull of these things), but that doesn't mean i can't drool a little. Hot. Oh how I wish I could pair these with a gunne sax style high collar dress...

Ooooh, so nice. I quite agree that age is just a number--after all, dressing your age is just another silly rule to follow to fit someone else's standards of propriety. It's really sort of an antiquated notion when there's so much modernity in every other aspect of our lives--when we start work, when we have children, when we get married, none of these are as age specific as they used to be, why should our clothes be?
of all the A/W prada this has to be m least favorite - but I understand it's the most versatile.
and it comes with a prada boy to lace and unlace, right?
